This simple jig transforms your drill press into a thickness planer for thin stock. The top surface doubles as an easy way to sharpen your chisels. Get creative and use it on your lathe or drill for other creative uses.

Each kit comes with:

• (1) Mandrel
• (1) 6" Cast Acrylic Disc
• (1) 3M Cubitron II (775L) 120 grit sanding disc (sticky back). 
• (1) 3M Cubitron II (775L) 220 grit sanding disc (sticky back). 
• Buy 6" refills here. 

You can purchase additional grits for your own preference. I use 120 on the bottom for thickness planing. Use scrap plywood to create a shallow dado to allow your thin stock a safe place to travel.

I use the 220 on the top for my chisels.
